Product Introduction
Polarizing film
Polarizing film: the window to the digital world.
Polarizing film is a specialized material that allows only light vibrating in a specific direction to pass through, making it a key component in the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) industry. Typically attached to the bottom surface of the liquid crystal cell, it plays a critical role in determining the LCD's accurate color reproduction and contrast ratio. Additionally, it helps minimize external light reflections, contributing significantly to delivering bright, vivid image quality. Polarizing films are manufactured by precisely layering multiple thin films, with the core technology lying in carefully aligning the type and arrangement of the films, as well as evenly distributing a light-absorbing substance—most commonly iodine or dye—throughout the material.
